LED GLS bulbs last much longer than traditional halogen, CFL, or incandescent bulbs and save up to 90% energy in comparison. These LEDs can replace the standard 20W to 100W GLS incandescent lamps. For instance the GW GLS 6W LED lamp is equivalent to 60W; and the Philips MasterLED  GLS 20W lamp is equivalent to 100W. With LEDs, electricity passes through a semiconductor to product light, thus creating much less heat than incandescent bulbs.
